Overview:

“Amadablam Base Camp Trekking – Trip to foothill of world’s most beautiful mountain”

Amadablam Base Camp Trekking is rejoicing walking trip to the foothill of the world’s most beautiful mountain. The charm of this trekking is very high because it is located at the Everest region. It is one of the very few easy – moderate trekking routes to walk on Khumbu.

If you are aware of Everest Base Camp Trekking then this trip is not new. Once the trekkers reach the beautiful village of Pangboche it leaves the EBC trail and follows the Amadablam route. Every activity is similar to that of Everest Trekking including the acclimatization break. Take a look at our Everest Base Camp Trekking itinerary for more information.

Mt. Amadablam

Mt. Amadablam is an icon of upper Khumbu. According to local dialect Amadablam refers to Mother Necklace. People also say that the name suggests the mother figure hugging the daughter. Whichever is the reason behind the name of this mountain it’s sheer grandeur is spectacular. The mountain is ever present during every trekking adventure in the Everest region of Nepal.

If you are considering about the expedition of this mountain then contact our travel planners. However, it is considered as the most difficult and technical mountain to climb.

Trekking trail beyond Pangboche is rough, rugged and off the beaten. Even if it is within the Everest region very few trekkers travel here. Therefore, it is underrated walking trail as well.

We never leave any stone unturned for the promotion and sustainable tourism in Nepal. The addition of Amadablam Base Camp Trekking is the proof of our mettle.

Apart from the mountain vista the journey is full of cultural encounter too. Villages like Phortse and Namche are place of Sherpa. Various monasteries along the way can easily make it as the most spectacular and diverse trekking trail up in the Khumbu.

Book the Amadablam Base Camp Trekking package with us. We assure you the great hospitality.

The shortest of trek can be Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, Langtang Helambu Trek or the Annapurna Circuit. The Everest trek and the full Annapurna sanctuary Trek can be ideal if you have a little more time. Finally, if you are looking for something that’s longer and more challenging, you’re looking at Kanchanjunga or Makalu area Trek.

Trekking alone can be a good experience if you are familiar with the terrain and have quite a few experiences in the area. Nobody can drag you down, and you can move at your own pace savoring the pleasant sceneries around to you. However, if it is your first experience or so, you might want to travel in group or with an agency. If you have no group and you’re all by yourselves, you can hire a porter or a guide.

Is communication to our home country possible while on a trek or climb?

Nepal’s communication facilities are getting day by day, and most portions of trekking routes have mobile phone coverage. In case of a climb, VHF or satellite phones are available at the base camp. In both cases, weather can play an important role in communication.
