“Everest Helicopter Tour – Regal Way to Explore Entire Khumbu”

Everest Helicopter Tour is a regal way to explore entire Khumbu. To reach Everest Base Camp (5364 m) on foot requires at least 11 days of walking. However, by using Helicopter travelers can reach almost every section of Everest region in one single day. It is sumptuous way of exploring an abode of world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest.

Travelers can choose to do the Everest Helicopter Tour in two different styles. They can either take the adventurous flight on twin otter plane to Lukla Airport or helicopter ride from Kathmandu. Either way adventure is guaranteed. If you want to leave your footprints at the foothill of Everest but couldn’t do due to physical condition or lack of time then choose this package.

Journey begins early in the morning from Kathmandu Airport. Travelers hop into the helicopter and fly over the hills and towns towards Lukla. The bird eye view of hills, forests and villages is spectacular. At Lukla refueling is done and travelers head straight to Kalapathar (5545 m). This is the highest point in Everest Base Camp Trek. The sight of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and many other looks splendid from here. Landing in Base Camp is not allowed these days. Therefore, travelers fly above it.

Gokyo Lake excursion so very much scenic. Helicopter fly above the Chola Pass, Fifth – Fourth Gokyo Lake and stop at the shores of third Gokyo Lake. It is truly majestic and you will feel as if you are in fairyland. The lake is blue turquoise surrounded by the snowcapped mountains. Travelers then head to Syangboche Airport for lunch and capture the breathtaking scenery of Khumbu in all direction. Finally the journey ends at Kathmandu after brief stop at Lukla for refueling.
