Bhutan, officially the Kingdom of Bhutan, is a landlocked country in South Asia. Tourism in Bhutan began in 1974, when the Government of Bhutan in an effort to raise revenue and to promote Bhutanese unique culture and traditions to the outside world, opened its isolated country to foreigners. You will fly in Druk Air from Kathmandu to Paro airport and enjoy the once in a lifetime breathtaking Himalayan flight over the Himalayas. On this 5 nights 6 days Bhutan Trip, you will visit the major attractions of Paro, Thimphu and Punakha to discover its beautiful sights. During your visit in Paro, you will explore Paro Dzong, Kichu Lakhang and National Museum and most importantly you will hike to impressive Tiger’s nest, also called as the Takshang Monastery. At Thimphu, you will visit Thimphu Dzong, Memorial Chorten, Buddha point and etc. While driving to Punakha, you will pass through the Dochu-La Pass (3080m) which keep you thrilled and enjoy the majestic views of the Himalayas.
