Our Everest Buddha Treks p. Ltd. representative will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to 3 Star hotel. Our office guide will explain the detailed procedure of our trip. You will then rest and stay overnight.
On this day, we visit UNESCO listed world heritage sites including holy Pashupatinath Temple which is biggest pilgrimage site for Hindus, Boudhanath Stupa & Swayambhunath which are pilgrimage site for Buddhist and Kathmandu Durbar Square which is full of arts and culture with wood carving on it. We move back to hotel for rest and overnight.
After breakfast, our office staff will pick you up from hotel and drive you to Pokhara by private vehicle service. The journey is long covering 204 km distance in 5-6 hours travel time. We drop you to the hotel for rest. You can roam nearby nearby hotel at evening at your will. Today's log ends with overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, we start our journey with drive to Nayapul for 1 hour. Our trek starts from there onward. We reach to Birethati after 20 minutes walk which is a large village with many shops and tea houses. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille (1520 m) and after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga (1540 m). Today’s walk offers a short and relatively easy day, during the journey allowing to get use to the experience of trekking in Nepal. Overnight at guest house.
Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with a steep climb to Ulleri (2,080 m). Ulleri is a large Magar village. The trail then continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2,300 m). Then we trek towards Nangethanti (2,450 m). After an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2,840 m). Overnight at guesthouse.
Today, early in the morning, we start an hour hiking to Poon Hill at elevation (3,210 m), a brilliant spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. There we spend about 1 hour, then returning to Ghorepani we take a hot breakfast at hotel. Leaving Ghorepani, we make climb along ridges, and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,990 m). After that we descend to the Banthanti, then turning off to Tadapani. Overnight at guest house.
The day starts with steep downhill through rhododendron forests. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung which is the village of Gurung people, with an easy walk to Chomrong (2,140 m). Overnight at guest house.
Today the trail drops down to the Chomrong Khola and again we continue climbing to Khuldighar (2,540 m) where there used to be an ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Check Post). There is a clearing in the forest a little further on from where the route travels very steeply down a rock bank and then levels out, running through thickness of bamboo at the bottom of the George, keeping on the west side of the river then rhododendron forests to Himalayan Hotel. Today the trail begins from the Himalaya passing through hinku (3,170 m) and deurali and trail climbs on past the Machhapuchre Base Camp (MBC), which isn’t really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted. Since it is totally surrounded by mountains, this area is known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Two hours trek from MBC takes you to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at an altitude of 4,130 m. There, you will view unobstructed views of mountain scenery, which is very spectacular. Overnight at guest house.
We follow the same trail down today the trail drops down by around 1700 meters to the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo (2,340 m) where there are few tea house/lodges available to stay at. Overnight at guesthouse.
After breakfast, we follow the same trail all the way down which is quire easier and cross Sinuwa and Chomrong to reach to Jhinu (Hot spring). It is 5 hours walk down where we can find few tea shops/ lodges. Overnight at tea house/lodge.
This is the last trekking day. After breakfast, we follow the same trail down passing Landrung, Tolka, Pothana, Dhampus Phedi (Gurung village) and to Pokhara. We trek for 6 hours total and one hour drive to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, we check out from hotel and return back to Kathmandu covering 204 km distance in 5-6 hours travel time. After arriving to Kathmandu, we then stay at hotel for rest and overnight. You can also enjoy doing some last minute shopping around Thamel.
Today is departure day. Our office representative will pick you up from hotel and drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for departure leaving you unforgettable memory of our trek.
