Jomsom Muktinath Trekking is another wonderful short days trekking in the territory of Annapurna Conservation Area, Nepal. Muktinath trekking lies in the district of Mustang and is about 18 km north east of Jomsom at an altitude of 3,749m. The natural beauty along the Jomsom – Muktinath trek is breathtaking. The scenery of the trail ranges from the forests of brilliant red rhododendrons to rocky cliffs and desert of Mustang. Mustang is in the rain shadow of the Himalaya, so the landscape here is arid. Flying to Pokhara gives you views of the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest in the world. On the other side, a completely different landscape opens up that is like few other places in Nepal.
