Chitwan

Chitwan is one of the popular touristic destinations of Nepal known for the jungle safari. However, there are numerous activities to do besides jungle safari in Chitwan. Journey begins with the road trip to Chitwan. Evening spent on the bank of Narayani River (One of the largest rivers of Nepal) overlooking the setting sun is perfect way to start the tour. Travelers do the jungle safari inside the Chitwan National Park. This park is also listed as the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site.

The park is home of numerous endangered species of animals, vegetation, insects and birds. One horned rhino is the rare animal which is found in this park only. There are numerous other animals like wild buffaloes, deer, monkey, tiger, elephants and crocodiles etc. present in the park.

Elephant bathing in the river is quite fascinating for the travelers. Apart from the jungle activities travelers get to know about the cultural side of Tharu people as well. These people are indigenous community of the area.

Itinerary:

Day 1

Arrival day

Our office representative will pick you up from Airport and drop you to the Star Hotel. Our Guide will briefly explain the procedure of our tour and then some rest and overnight.


Day 2

Drive to Chitwan, 170 km, around 5 hours drive

After breakfast we head towards Chitwan, 170 km far from valley and takes 5-6 hours drive. Later in the evening, we enjoy observing Tharu cultural dance and rest and overnight at hotel.


Day 3

Full day guided Jungle activities in the National Park including Elephant safari

On this particular day, we enjoy ourselves involving in jungle activities with lots of fun. We take an elephant ride to take jungle safari to every nooks & corner with chance of seeing Bengal Tiger. We also enjoy Jeep riding, Jungle walk observing rare One horned rhinoceros, Ghariyal crocodile and Bengal tiger. We then move back to hotel for rest and overnight.


Day 4

Birds watching, exploring Tharu villages, canoeing, elephant breeding center

Today also we stay at Chitwan enjoying all the fun with canoeing, birds watching and visiting to elephant breeding center, elephant bath and nearby Tharu villages observing their culture, tradition and lifestyle. We stay there for a final day enjoying with camp firing and overnight.


Day 5

Drive back to kathmandu, 170 km, around 5 hours drive

After breakfast, we head back to Kathmandu for around 5 hours time travel covering 170 km distance. The lane is smoothly paved with no ditches around. After reaching to Kathmandu, we check in at hotel and rest afterward. We stay overnight there.


Day 6

Kathmandu sightseeing

Today, we visit holy Pashupatinath Temple which is biggest pilgrimage site for hindus, Boudhanath Stupa & Swayambhunath which are pilgrimage site for Buddhist and Kathmandu Durbar Square which is full of arts and culture with wood carving on it. We move back to hotel for rest and overnight.


Day 7

Departure day

Our office representative will drop you to the Airport for your flight departure from Nepal leaving beautiful memory.

How to obtain visa to travel to Nepal?
