Overview:

Bhutan, officially the Kingdom of Bhutan, is a landlocked country in South Asia. Tourism in Bhutan began in 1974, when the Government of Bhutan in an effort to raise revenue and to promote Bhutanese unique culture and traditions to the outside world, opened its isolated country to foreigners. You will fly to Paro airport and enjoy the once in a lifetime experience. We will have a scenic view from viewpoint cafeteria at Taksang monastery also known by "Tiger's nest." We will visit various heritages and sites like Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Sanctuary (3700m), Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum, and Heritage Museum, Traditional School of arts & crafts and Tashicho Dzong making your visit worth it.

Arrival day

On arrival at the airport, received by the representative of Everest Buddha Treks and then transfer to Thimpu for rest and overnight.

Day

Thimpu sightseeing

After breakfast, we will have a full day sightseeing in Thimpu. We will visit various heritages and sites like Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Sanctuary (3700m), Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum, and Heritage Museum, Traditional School of arts & crafts and Tashicho Dzong. Overnight at Thimpu.

Day

Thimpu - Paro & hiking

On this day, we will take a 20 min drive to the base of Taksang monastery. It takes around one and half hour to reach to Taksang monastery also known by "Tiger's nest." We will have a scenic view from viewpoint cafeteria. Then after we will visit Kyichu temple, one of the 108 temples built in 7th century. In the evening, we will relax in the traditional hotstone bath at a farmhouse in Paro valley. Also we will see inside traditional Bhutanese house and have dinner with family members of the house. Overnight at Paro.

Departure day

In the morning, your Bhutan guide from Everest buddha treks will escort you to the Paro airport for your flight to your further destination.
